Facilities

Facilities are available for the testing of overhead power-line components and systems, including insulator discs under the combined effects of mechanical tension and high voltage (eg for the performance of electro-mechanical failing load tests to the requirements of AS/NZS 2947.1).

High capacity a.c. supplies for dielectric tests on stator windings of turbo-alternators and high voltage motors.
